How Does Scheduled Email Sending Work?

The scheduled email sending feature is integrated directly into your email interface.
1. Write your email.
As usual, create your message, add recipients, and compose the text.
2. Set the sending time.
When the email is ready, instead of clicking the “Send” button, click the arrow next to it. You’ll see a menu to select the sending time. Choose one of the suggested times or set a specific date and time.
3. Check the settings.
After selecting the time, your email will display information about the scheduled date and time for sending. Make sure everything is correct, and then click the “Schedule” button.

What Happens to the Email After Scheduling?

1. “Scheduled” Folder.
The scheduled email will move to this folder, where it will remain until the set sending time.
2. Automatic Sending.
At the specified time, your email will be sent automatically to the recipient without any further action from you.

Can You Edit the Email After Scheduling?

Yes, as long as the email is in the “Scheduled” folder, you can:
• Edit the email text.
• Add new attachments or recipients.
• Delete the email.
• Cancel the scheduled sending and send the email immediately.

A file attached this way will appear in the email as a downloadable link, which minimizes the space used and leaves more place for your text and formatting.

Inbox Files is a service for storing documents, archives, photos, and other files that you work with. Among the main advantages of using the file storage are the ability to store files without time limits, share them, and attach files up to 2.5 GB to emails.

Keep in mind that email services like Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and others accept emails with attachments that do not exceed 25 MB in size. Inbox.lv allows users to send emails with attachments twice as large! With Inbox Files, you can save any video or photo archive (for example, from a family photoshoot) for free and immediately attach it to an email without additional uploads.

You can attach files to emails one at a time or add an entire folder at once.

Each user has 20 GB of free storage for any files. If this is not enough, you can always increase the storage to 150 GB, 300 GB, or even 1 TB. By the way, 1 TB of storage has become very popular among our users.
It’s important to note that all documents in Files are stored without time limits — they are always available and will never be deleted automatically.

Inbox Premium users will have access to at least 150 GB of total storage for emails, files, photos, and videos, with options to upgrade to 300 GB or 1 TB (1000 GB) of storage.

Inbox Premium users can send an unlimited number of emails per day, compared to the limit of 300 emails in the free version. Additionally, up to 250 recipients can be added per email, instead of just 50 in the free version.

A significant advantage of Inbox Premium is the ability to retain deleted emails, files, photos, and videos, as well as more frequent backups and longer archive retention.

Inbox Premium benefits apply both when using email and when using Inbox Files or Inbox Photos separately. Inbox Files allows convenient storage and sharing of all types of files, while Inbox Photos makes it easy to organize photos and videos into galleries and order photo prints. While these services are also available for free users, they come with limited storage and slower upload/download speeds.

Inbox Premium combines the features of the previous Inbox Mail+ and Inbox Files+ subscriptions into a single plan. These services will no longer be offered separately, but existing users with active subscriptions will retain all current features.

“We currently have no strategic plan to migrate all free users to Inbox Premium, as our company continues to operate effectively by selling ad space. This agreement means that starting from 26.06.2024:
• The email addresses of LLC “Baltcom” clients will remain unchanged and will continue to function as before.
• All user mailbox content has been migrated to the LLC “Inbokss” platform.
• The password for the mailbox will remain unchanged after the transition to https://www.inbox.eu.

What will change?
• LLC “Baltcom” clients will be able to use the email service on the website https://www.inbox.eu, the mobile app, or email programs using POP3/IMAP/SMTP protocols.
• To access your email, you must enter your full “Baltcom” email address, including the part after @ (e.g., janis@piemers.lv), and your current password in the username field.

For quick work with emails:
1. Try the built-in “Show all unread emails in a folder” filter in order to quickly find all unread emails in a folder.
2. Folders with new emails can be seen at the very top of the list.
3. To quickly find all the emails sent by the sender you need in the folder, use the built-in filter or quick search.

4. Forget about deleting emails one by one from the “Spam” folder. All the content of any folder in the mailbox can be deleted with one click, including that of the “Trash” folder. Read more

5. If you often write a new email to a certain group of your contacts, do not enter all the contact data again each time manually or by copying it. Create a group in the “Contacts” product and send a new email to a specific recipient group at once. How create group of contacts?

Useful features when writing emails:
1. A spell checker must be enabled, especially for important and business conversations. Turn ON spell checker?

7. To quickly attach files to an email, drag and drop the files.

8. If a file is large, you do not need to split or archive it. File transfer up to 1.5 GB. The recipient will receive a link to the file and download it from Inbox.lv Files, which is a storage for any files; it has no time limits, and it is completely free.

Mail personalisation:
1. Coloured themes, larger or smaller text size, font change will help to make your mailbox more comfortable for your eyes.

2. Check your signature: if necessary, you can add a company logo or highlight it with a colour.

3. If you are in correspondence with friends and business partners, it is useful to have several signatures and to make the signature that is used more often selected as default.

2. Remember, emails accidentally deleted from the trash can be recovered within 7 days after their deletion. How can do it?

For reducing junk mail in the mailbox:
1. If you have subscribed somewhere so that your mailbox has become filled with spam, enable the “Increased protection against spam” setting. Most of such emails will immediately go to the “Spam” folder, which will facilitate work with incoming mail. Turn ON now?

2. Help us, by reporting spam emails that came into your inbox: click on the “Spam” button at the top of the email. After clicking, the received information is processed by the inbox.lv internal systems and the marked spam emails begin to be deleted immediately, without getting to the mailboxes of the users.

Working with emails on your phone:

For many years, this feature had been very popular with users, but it has lost its relevance due to smartphone and mobile application development. Mobile phone operators are beginning to end support for such a service.

Currently, the delivery of SMS messages upon the receipt of a new email is no longer officially supported by mobile phone operators such as: TELIA Lietuva (Omnitel.lt) and BITE Latvia.

If you wish to continue receiving notifications upon the receipt of new emails, Inbox.lv recommends you to use a mobile application, that offers many convenient and useful features:

- instant email notifications
- convenient viewing of any email
- the possibility of writing an answer
- fast email forwarding
- viewing the files received
- work with folders, filters
- synchronising your contacts and calendar
- complete absence of advertising and many other things!

P.S. We recommend old phone users or users of phones with Android 4.2.2 (or with an Android version below 4.2.2) to use built-in email clients and to work with emails using POP3 or IMAP mail protocol. Accessing mail through POP3 and IMAP is available both for inbox.lv users who use the service based on paying a fee and for inbox.lv users who use it without paying a fee.

      It is not possible to turn off this functionality. The appearance and design of smileys may differ slightly depending on the operating system used. You don’t have to choose the colourful smileys from a list for them to appear in the subject of the message. It is enough to correctly write the combination of symbols ( , , , ) and the smileys automatically appear in your subject.

      We should also note one more little improvement, which was developed at the request of our users – the display of the number of new or unread messages in the title of the page. The improvement made was indeed small, but it can help users track new messages faster. Now, whenever you receive a new message, a text, for example, “1 new message”, will appear in the title of the page. And if there are unread messages in the folder “Inbox”, a text for example, “3 unread messages”, will appear in the title of the page.
