As of today, 15 December 2011, a new front page design is being offered for the convenience of Inbox.lv portal users. The most significant changes concern the toolbar on the portal’s front page – new services have been added, it has become much clearer and is now located vertically on the left side of the portal.
The main reason for these changes is the large number of products and services that the Inbox.lv portal offers in addition to email. “We are developing and offering users ever new ways to use the portal in their daily lives. Besides email, many different services are available, including both entertainment and useful tools. Unfortunately, the toolbar of the previous design did not allow us to fit our entire range of products and services. This circumstance prompted us to create a new, more user-friendly design,” says Inbox.lv Chairman of the Board Andris Griķis, explaining the change of the portal’s front page design.
The new front page design is available in all three interface languages offered by the portal – Latvian, Russian and English.
Thanks to the well-thought-out actions of the Inbox.lv technical service, Inbox.lv remained fully available to all its users without interruption while the portal’s front page design was being changed.
For users’ leisure and entertainment, Inbox.lv offers Inbox Games and Inbox Fun, Inbox Smart for sharpening the mind, Inbox Dating for meeting people, while users’ everyday lives are made easier by the photo storage and gallery service Inbox Foto, the data storage and sharing tool Inbox Files, the search engine Inbox Search, and Inbox Wi-Fi, which lists Wi-Fi access points throughout Latvia where Inbox.lv can be used free of charge. The internet portal www.inbox.lv of SIA «Inbokss» was established in 1998. Currently, with more than six million registered users, it is the largest internet portal in Latvia offering various free services. In terms of traffic, according to «TNS Latvia» and «Gemius» research data, the portal ranks first among Latvian websites, with the number of unique users reaching almost 600 thousand per week and 800 thousand per month.
