Latvia’s most popular conductor, artistic director of the youth choir “Balsis” Ints Teterovskis, greeted 8 March this year by throwing himself into an attractive adventure. In the “Dinner with the Magnificent” vote organised by the website Inbox.lv, Teterovskis turned out to be the most popular of eight candidates, beating such desirable local men as the barber of the Old Riga gentlemen’s barbershop “Lumberjack”, hairstyling “guru” Maksims Podziava, and the voice and face of the hockey club “Dinamo Rīga”, Armands Simsons.
The conductor has left more than one member of the fair sex anything but indifferent, yet he himself, still smiling, enjoys the status of a free man. In the Women’s Day project on the website “lieliskais.inbox.lv”, 780 members of the fair sex expressed interest in having dinner with Ints. However, ahead of Women’s Day, Ints honoured with his company only one lucky lady, who was chosen as the winner by drawing lots and went to a festive dinner together with Ints.
In fierce competition, the lucky ticket fell to Linda Renckulberga, an e-mail marketing specialist. Linda admitted that she was most charmed by Teterovskis’ charming smile, followed by Ints’ positive energy, charisma and talent. Linda signed up for the project quite spontaneously, so the opportunity to have dinner with a publicly acclaimed artist came as a pleasant surprise. The festive dinner took place at the 3 Pavāri restaurant “Tam labam būs augt”, known as the fourth best in the “30 Excellence Best Restaurants in Latvia” ranking. Once the first moment of getting acquainted, filled with heartfelt embarrassment, had passed, the two enjoyed an exquisite dinner and wide-ranging conversation.
During the evening it turned out that they have many common interests, and both hold travel and getting to know different cultures close to their hearts. In a gentlemanly manner worthy of the show “The Bachelor”, Ints also presented Linda with a gift from the splendid jewellery store “Grenardi”, one that would make any woman’s heart beat faster.
After the meeting, in high spirits, Ints admitted that he had spent a wonderful evening and had met a wonderful conversation partner. Asked whether, with the arrival of spring, the meeting might have some continuation, Teterovskis only smiled mysteriously.
