On 13-14 May, the Lattelecom Marathon took place in Riga, bringing together both top-class professionals and other sports enthusiasts who had the opportunity to run shorter distances. In total, 32,000 participants from 70 countries started in the marathon. This year, the Lattelecom Riga Marathon also featured the brave and enduring team of the domestic portal Inbox.lv, which actively supports a sporty lifestyle every day and gladly proved itself in the 21, 10 and 6 km distances.
Taking part in the largest running festival in the Baltics allowed us not only to test our strength, but also to have a great time together with our colleagues while strengthening team spirit. This year 13 inbox.lv employees took part in the Riga Marathon – the half marathon, or 21 km distance, was completed by 3 employees, 4 company representatives took part in the 10 km run, while 7 employees took part in the 6 km marathon distance. One of the Inbox team members managed to run both the 21 km and the 6 km distances, and the fastest 6 km runner of our team was Aleksejs Kovaļevs, who took 55th place out of 10,064.
Thank you to all team members who confidently represented our company at the Lattelecom Riga Marathon!
