The long-awaited Catch-all feature is now available for domain email users on the Inbox.eu platform. A Catch-all address allows you to receive emails sent to any non-existent address in your domain.
This is useful if someone accidentally mistypes an address, for example, by writing “mari@domain.com” instead of “maria@domain.com.” This feature can also be helpful if your website lists several addresses, such as sales@me.com or marketing@me.com, but you actually manage only one mailbox, like info@me.com.
If the Catch-all feature is not activated, a sender who emails an incorrect address will receive a delivery failure notification. With the Catch-all feature enabled – emails will be delivered to the specified Catch-all address.
Important Points to Consider:
1. If an existing address matches the recipient, the email will go to that account instead of the catch-all.
2. Catch-all addresses often receive spam. We recommend setting up a separate account for this purpose and regularly reviewing any messages you may want to keep.
You can set up the Catch-all address in the domain administration panel, accessible from the Inbox.eu homepage.
The Catch-all feature is available only for domains with a paid subscription. Upgrade your plan to Premium to ensure that all messages, even those sent to incorrect addresses, will reach you!
