This year, Inbox.lv has made significant improvements to its services, including the introduction of unified data storage for all user accounts. Now, emails (Mail), files (Files), and photos (Foto) will share a common storage space within your account, providing greater flexibility and more efficient resource usage.
What Has Changed?
Previously, each Inbox.lv service (Mail, Files, Foto) had separate storage limits. Now, all free accounts are allocated 20 GB of shared storage, which you can use as you see fit—whether you need more space for emails or for files and photos.
Key Benefits for Inbox.lv Users:
• More Flexibility – You decide how to use your available storage. Some may need more space for emails, while others prefer to store larger files.
• Simplified Management – A unified storage system is easier to understand and manage, eliminating the need to track different limits for each service.
• More Efficient Resource Usage – Inbox.lv can better distribute server resources and optimize data storage, ensuring faster access.
Where Can You View and Manage Storage?
To check how much space your files and emails are using, go to your Inbox.lv account settings – > Manage Your Account
You can also monitor your total storage usage in the Inbox.lv Mail interface, where the percentage of used space is displayed on the left side of the screen. Currently, this feature is not yet available in Inbox.lv mobile apps but may be introduced in the future.
Need More Space in Your Account?
If 20 GB is not enough, you can upgrade to Inbox.lv Premium, which offers up to 1 TB of additional storage. Moreover, Inbox Premium provides an ad-free email experience and even more secure file storage.
