Spell-checking and new sorting of letters in Inbox Mail

September 25,2012

Inbox.lv team always pays high attention to users’ suggestions and comments in order to improve our products and make them work better and simpler. Over past two weeks we’ve made some improvements in Inbox Mail.

Chrome and Mozilla users now have embedded spell-checker, which works automatically when You write new letter. Default language of spell-checking is determined by Your browser, if You wish to switch from English to Latvian or Russian, for example, You need to change the settings of Your browser. You can find additional information in Inbox Help section.

We’ve changed the sorting in the “From” field to provide more convenient sorting and searching by sender. From now on, search is indexed based upon sender’s name. Earlier, letters in the “From” field were sorted by sender’s e-mail, thus confusing our users.

Technical changes were also made in FCKeditor. With these changes some dialog boxes, that appeared after pasting text to a new letter, are now gone.

We hope that these changes will help You to use Inbox Mail in a more convenient way!
